
At 68.10 I have transitioned from working full time to semi-retirement. It’s not easy surviving on Social Security, a small pension, and whatever else I can earn to subsidize my income. After 50 years of working, it’s time to fully enjoy my life now and live my passions. As someone recently said:
“We don’t have that many days left to enjoy this life”.
There is value in my story even when it’s not pretty or perfect, or more real than I want it to be. There are lessons – there is joy – it is what I have and I own it!
But all in all, given all the messy, I still have a wonderful life. And I’m still working/sorting it out.
And that is where the search for ordinary days begin –
